Our programs are centred around worship, empowering and sharing.

 

Worship 

We seek to develop an atmosphere where all generations give voice to their love for God.


Empowering

Our ministry of discipleship is geared to assist God’s people in discovering God and growing in him.


Sharing

Our sharing programs are vehicles through which we encourage fellowship and mission. Some of these groups gather to
perform a task or a mission, while others gather for fellowship.

 

 

Programs A to Z

 

Adult Fellowship

Our adult fellowship committee sponsors events designed to gather the adults of our church for fellowship and service.


Adventure Club

On Monday nights children from five to twelve years of age gather for games, crafts, stories – fun.

 

Alpha

The Alpha Course is offered in various forms throughout the year and offers an Opportunity to explore the meaning of life.



Baptist Men

At various times in the year our men can be found felllowshipping around the Breakfast table, gathering to hear a special speaker. They will also be found Sponsoring special church and community events, planning church services and raising funds. Our men have a good time when they gather and invite all men to the group.

 

Baptist Women

We have three groups of women who meet monthly. The three groups gather separately and together once per month. Our women are actively involved in raising funds for mission around the world. Fun and fellowship are key parts of each meeting.

 

 

Cellectives

This is our midweek study opportunities. We offer groups that meet at various locations and at various times for study and fellowship. We gather around God’s Word and, in the process, we grow to love each other.

 

Choir

Our Choir is a vital group of people who find fellowship and service through song. Our choir enhances our worship experience. Choir practice is Thursday evenings.

 

 

PrimeTimers

Each Monday all seniors are invited to join us. We sometimes have potluck dinners, special speakers and field trips. Our seniors have great times around a game of Scrabble or Crokinole.

 

 

Sunday School

Each Sunday at 9:45 am we gather to learn from God’s Word. We offer classes for all ages.

 

 

Worship Teams

First Baptist Church Ingersoll has a variety of worship team which include both traditional and contemporary styles of music.


 

Youth Ministry

  • Over the Edge is our Jr. High Youth Ministry serving students grades 6-8.  Together we hang out, play great games and dive into God’s Word to learn more about what it means to love and follow Jesus.  With the help of awesome volunteers, Over the Edge meets Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30.
  • TRUTH is our Sr. High Youth Ministry serving students grades 9-12.  We are a group committed to doing life together, discovering the love and hope of Jesus Christ in the midst of this crazy world.  Together we enjoy crazy games, great fellowship and the truth of God’s Word.  With an awesome team of volunteers, TRUTH meets Wednesday nights from 6:30-9:00.
